Adults-only service and age requirement
Online Rishtydar is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old and legally eligible to marry in the jurisdiction relevant to them. We do not knowingly allow a child to register, maintain a profile, appear in a matchmaking profile or use our member communication features. Members must provide accurate account and profile information and must not create, manage or represent an account for a child. Family involvement is permitted only with the adult member's knowledge and consent; it must never be used to bypass the age requirement or an adult member's choices.
Zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation
We prohibit child sexual abuse material, grooming, sexualized content involving a child, trafficking, coercion, exploitation, solicitation, sextortion, requests for sexual images or contact with a child, and any attempt to use Online Rishtydar to facilitate these harms. This prohibition applies whether the conduct is explicit or implied, and whether it occurs in a profile, message, image, video, document, link, username, conversation or off-platform contact arranged through our service. Do not upload, request, share, store, promote or direct anyone to such material.
What members must not do
Members must not misstate their age, seek contact with a child, share a child's personal information or image without lawful authority, or use another person's identity, photographs or documents without permission. Members must not pressure anyone to move to another service, conceal unlawful conduct, send money, request money, request passwords or verification codes, or ask another person for identity documents or intimate content. An approved profile-verification indicator is not permission to ignore warning signs, and it does not verify every statement or future action by a member.
Reporting a concern
If you believe a profile, message, image, verification submission or other activity may involve a child or child exploitation, stop engaging and report it immediately through the in-app reporting tools or the Report Abuse page. Include the profile, message or other details that can help locate the concern, but do not download, forward, repost or otherwise distribute suspected child sexual abuse material. If there is an immediate risk to a child or another person, contact local emergency services or the appropriate child-protection authority first. You may also contact our support team through the Contact page with the subject “Child Safety Concern”; do not send suspected illegal material by email.
How Online Rishtydar responds
We review credible reports and available account or service information, taking account of urgency, safety and applicable law. We may restrict visibility, remove content, suspend or permanently close accounts, preserve relevant records, and take other proportionate steps needed to protect people and the integrity of the service. Where we identify or receive credible information about suspected child sexual abuse or exploitation, we may make a report to relevant authorities or organizations as required or permitted by applicable law. To protect safety, privacy and investigations, we may not be able to share the outcome of a report with the reporting person.
Prevention and safety controls
Our service is designed around adult account creation, profile controls, identity-related verification review where available, private member communication, and reporting and blocking tools. These controls reduce risk but cannot guarantee that every person, statement, image or interaction is safe. Members should protect personal information, keep early conversations within the service where possible, avoid sharing money or sensitive credentials, and use independent judgment before meeting anyone. Parents and guardians should not use this adults-only service as a child-safety tool or allow a child to use it.
Privacy, evidence and data handling
We handle reports and related information with care and limit access to people and providers who need it to operate the service, protect users, investigate abuse or meet legal obligations. We may need to retain limited information for safety, fraud prevention, investigations, dispute resolution or legal compliance, as explained in our Privacy Policy and Data Deletion information. Do not use an account-deletion request to report an urgent safety concern; use the reporting route or emergency services as appropriate.
Contact and policy updates
For general support, use the Contact page. For a child-safety concern, use Report Abuse or contact support with the subject “Child Safety Concern,” without attaching suspected illegal material. We may update these standards as our service, safety practices or legal obligations change. The current version is published on this page. These standards do not replace emergency services, child-protection authorities or professional advice in an urgent situation.
