Privacy at a glance
Online Rishtydar uses personal information to operate a marriage-minded matchmaking service, provide account support, help protect members and meet applicable obligations. You can review or update profile information, use available visibility choices and request help with privacy or data deletion. This summary does not replace the sections below, which explain the types of information involved and the choices available to you.
Information we collect
We may collect account and profile details, partner preferences, photographs, verification information, communications, device data and information you choose to share with our support team. The information requested can depend on the feature you use. Please do not send passwords, one-time codes, full payment credentials or identity documents through ordinary member messages or general support forms.
How information is used
We use information to operate matchmaking features, present relevant profile information according to available visibility settings, provide compatibility guidance, support verification, improve safety, respond to support requests and meet applicable legal obligations. Compatibility information is guidance based on available profile and preference data; it does not predict character, consent or a marriage outcome.
Profile visibility and private communication
You can hide your entire profile from discovery at any time. You can also choose to show photos, blur them before a match, or hide them until a match; where available, you may reveal photos to a specific active match. These controls affect what the service displays to other members and can be changed at any time. Keep your profile accurate and consider carefully what you share in an early conversation. Private communication tools do not remove the need for personal judgment: do not share passwords, verification codes, identity documents, financial details or your home address with another member.
Verification information
Members may submit identity information through the app's verification flow. An approved verified indicator is an identity-related trust signal after administrative review; it does not confirm every profile statement, family claim, financial claim, personal intention or future outcome. Review the Profile Verification page and Safety Tips for practical guidance.
Your choices
You can review or update profile information, hide your profile, adjust photo visibility and photo access for active matches, withdraw consent where applicable, request a copy of your data or request deletion through our Data Deletion page. Contact [email protected] from your registered email for a privacy or data request. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request so we can help protect your account and information.
Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. Information is retained only as long as needed for the purposes described, dispute resolution, safety, fraud prevention and applicable law. We do not state fixed retention periods here because they can depend on the information, account status, safety needs and legal obligations. See Data Deletion for the account-deletion process and its limits.
