What deleting an account means
Account deletion normally removes access to your Online Rishtydar account and ends profile visibility. It can also affect your profile, matches, messages and saved preferences, and it may not be reversible once completed. If you want a copy of information or only need to change profile details, privacy settings or visibility, review the available account controls or contact privacy support before requesting deletion.
Before you submit a request
Consider whether you need to save information that is important to you, such as lawful purchase records or details needed for an unrelated matter. Cancel an active subscription through the purchase channel separately; deleting an account does not by itself confirm that a store-managed renewal has been cancelled. Never send passwords, one-time codes, full payment details or identity documents in a general email or support form.
How to request data deletion
Email [email protected] from the email address registered to your account with the subject “Data Deletion Request,” or use the support route after signing in. Include enough information for us to locate the account, such as your registered email or phone number, but do not include sensitive credentials. If you cannot access the registered email, explain this in the request so the team can advise on a safe verification route.
Identity verification and request security
We may need to verify that the requester controls the account before acting. This helps prevent another person, including a relative, from deleting an account without the member’s knowledge and permission. Verification steps can depend on the account and the request. We will not ask you to disclose a password or one-time code by email. If a request concerns an immediate safety risk, use Report Abuse or contact local emergency services first.
What happens after a request
We may acknowledge the request, verify account ownership, explain the next steps and identify any information that cannot immediately be removed. Eligible deletion is handled within the timeframe required by applicable law; the exact timeframe can depend on the jurisdiction, account status and nature of the request. Privacy and security obligations may limit the information we can share about internal review steps.
Backups, safety and legal retention
Some limited records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, disputes, financial records, legal obligations or enforcement of the Terms & Conditions. Encrypted backup copies can remain until routine backup rotation. Retained information should not be used for new matchmaking activity after account deletion, except where an applicable obligation requires otherwise. Retention rules can vary by location and the type of information involved.
Privacy questions and alternatives
For questions about how personal information is collected or used, read the Privacy Policy. For profile safety, harassment, impersonation or suspicious behavior, use Report Abuse rather than a deletion request. If you need help accessing your account before making a decision, use account recovery or contact support. You remain free to seek advice from an appropriate local privacy authority or qualified adviser about rights that apply to your situation.
