Before you report content
Copyright protects original creative expression, not general ideas, facts or personal disagreement. If a profile creates an immediate safety, impersonation, privacy or harassment concern, use the Report Abuse route instead of waiting for a copyright review. If you believe your copyrighted photograph, writing or other original work has been used without permission, collect the relevant links, screenshots and information identifying the work before contacting us.
How to submit a copyright notice
Email [email protected] with a clear subject such as “Copyright Notice.” Include your name and reliable contact details; identification of the copyrighted work; the exact URL, profile or other location of the material you believe infringes; a concise explanation of why you are authorized to act; and a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, agent or law. Do not include passwords, financial information, identity documents or unnecessary personal information. Incomplete notices may need clarification before they can be assessed.
What happens after a notice
We may review the notice, request further information, preserve relevant account information where appropriate, limit access to disputed material or take another proportionate action. A report does not automatically establish infringement, and we may be unable to disclose the outcome of a review because of privacy, safety or legal obligations. If the matter involves an immediate risk, contact the relevant local authority or emergency service first rather than relying on an online report.
If your content was reported
If you believe your content was removed or restricted by mistake, contact [email protected] and identify the affected content, the reason you believe the action was incorrect and any information supporting your right to use it. Do not submit another person’s personal information without permission. We may ask for clarification or supporting material, but we cannot provide legal advice or decide complex ownership disputes that require a court or other competent authority.
Repeat or serious infringement
Online Rishtydar may restrict or close accounts that repeatedly or seriously misuse another person’s copyrighted material, create impersonating profiles or otherwise breach the Terms & Conditions or Community Guidelines. Any action depends on the available information, the nature of the alleged breach, safety considerations and applicable obligations. A verified tick is not permission to upload content that belongs to someone else.
Protecting your own content and privacy
Only upload photographs, text and media that you created or have permission to use. Do not post another person’s private images, identity documents, messages, contact information or personal details without their permission. Use the available privacy choices carefully and read the Safety Tips before sharing content with another member. If an issue concerns personal-data use rather than copyright, review the Privacy Policy or request help through the Data Deletion route.
